Multi-Property Real Estate Auction to Caravan across Northern Michigan

Cheboygan, MI (PRWEB) September 12, 2007 -- Besner Auction and Realty will lead a caravan across northern Michigan on October 1, selling 6 properties at auction, according to auctioneer Gwyn Besner.

"We are really excited about this caravan auction event," said Besner. "We have 6 prime properties that we will be auctioning beginning at 10a.m. in Cheboygan and continuing all day long until we end up in Mackinaw City."

"Our feature property is the Anchor Budget Inn in Mackinaw City," said Besner. "The inn is centrally located, open year round and features 32 all-new beautiful units, including family suites, Jacuzzi suites, indoor heated pool and spa. This is the perfect opportunity to be the owner-operator of a motel in a fantastic tourist destination."

Besner explained that the Anchor Budget Inn is an "invitation only" auction. The auction firm will accept sealed bids on this property until noon on September 24. Then they will contact the top 10 bidders and invite them to bid in the live auction.

In Cheboygan, the auction properties include two 2,000 square-foot group homes run by Northern Management Services for North Country Community Mental Health. The two homes are located at 2154 Harrison Avenue and 445 Cleveland Avenue in Cheboygan and have rental income.

"Both of these homes are totally barrier free, disability accessible and have plenty of storage," Besner said. "They are both close to the downtown district and have been very well maintained."

Besner is also offering a waterfront home at 7511 McDonald Road on Mullett Lake. "This is a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath home," she explained. "It features an open great room that faces the water. It's just minutes from shopping in historic downtown Cheboygan, yet it's as private as can be on it's own 100'x400' wooded lot."

Two business opportunities will go up for auction during the caravan. A fully-equipped butcher shop located on approximately .5 acres at 810 Court Street in a 1,000 square-foot building complete with walk-in coolers. Built in 1950, this property is being sold "absolute" or without reserve, meaning the highest bidder wins.

The second commercial location is 1462 Riggsville Road, which was formerly a meat processing plant. Also being sold "absolute" or without reserve, this property features a 3,900 square-foot well-insulated space appropriate for any enterprise requiring cold storage. "This would make a great space for a florist, trucking staging stop or grocery wholesaler," said Besner.

The building has overhead doors, overhead crane, 3-phase electricity and 12-foot ceilings. Meat processing equipment -- including scales, hooks, saws, choppers, slicer, showcases, winches and more -- will be sold separately.

Besner said brokers are encouraged to participate in the auctions. "We are very excited to offer a generous 30 percent commission split to registered agents of winning bidders." Agents must register their buyer 24 hours prior to the auction. Pre-auction offers are also encouraged and will be presented to the clients. Camping In Cabin Rentals
Camping is a cheaper vacation than, say, a Paris holiday or a Caribbean tour. This is also something that kids will enjoy and brag to their friends. Camping trips also make for funny camping anecdotes that can last you a lifetime. Unfortunately, not everyone has the skill to peg in a tent upright or light an outdoor fire. In this case, log cabin rentals are good options. There are cabin rentals available year-round and in different locations. There are wood cabins, fishing cabins, and hiking cabins. These cabins take the pressure of building that perfect tent and cooking on outdoor fires. Most cabins also come with amenities like plumbing, stove, dining room, bedrooms, living room, and a bathroom. But not every cabin has electricity, and wi...
