There are also many tours which you can join and learn more about the city of Melbourne. For example, you can take a hot air balloon trip above the city and the Yarra Valley, go on the Golden Mile Guided Walk, a Town Hall tour, the Hidden Bars of Melbourne, (a fun tour which visits five bars, including the Ice Bar), the Melbourne Cricket Ground Tour plus lots more!
If you?ve got kids in your party, be sure to visit Melbourne Zoo, which houses many species from around the world. You can, of course, also see Australian wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas, wombats and platypus! Melbourne Aquarium is also worth a visit and is an ideal family-friendly attraction.
If you fancy seeing the city from a great height, then visit Melbourne 360, which is an amazing observation deck from which you can view the city from the top of the Rialto building. If you?ve got a real head for heights, then also be sure to check out Eureka Skydeck 88, which is a fantastic observation deck at the top of the Eureka Tower. From there, you can see the most spectacular panoramic views of the city. Also located here is The Edge, an amazing glass cube which sticks out of the building. You can go inside the glass cube (if you dare!) and take in all the incredible views!
